WINTER JEWELLERY TRENDS TO ACCESSORISE WITH

This winter, we’re eyeing off jewellery trends that can work for any occasion. It’s always fun to get a head start on checking out what trends to expect in the coming months… Accessories are a great way to add a little something special to an outfit.

Jewellery is hugely relevant during these sartorially confusing times, and extra is on deck for the coming months. No matter your style, I promise there’s a style on this list that you’ll absolutely love.

A pile-it-on attitude came through in abundance during the sunshine-filled season past. On the streamlined end of things, reinterpreted hits like pearls and chains exhibited staying power. The newest iterations for winter will seamlessly meld with everyday attire throughout the season.

THICK CHAINS

I’d be lying if I said thick chains weren’t one of my favourite accessory trends: chunky chain jewellery is where it is at this season. Wear them over and over again, and catch the attention of everyone in the room! A dramatic take on your everyday delicate necklace, this is a true wardrobe mainstay.

DROP EARRINGS

A small but mighty outfit amplifier, a drop earring can turn any outfit from every day to statement-making. There’s something about timeless and classic earrings that have the ability to be both pared back and statement making, giving even the most minimalist of outfits a bit of bang!

GOLD AND PEARL COMBO

Bold, gold jewellery is another glamorous trend; pair that with pearls, and you have yourself a beautiful yet subtle statement with an unexpected twist. Pearls have undergone a recovery of sorts in the last period, transforming into statement pieces in the form of layered pearl chains.

SILVER STATEMENT

Gold has been the metal of preference among trendsetters for many seasons, but for winter 2021, there is a silver streak occurring. Jan Logan proves that silver is a sterling choice, from oversized chain-links to thick cuff bracelets and slinky necklaces. Silver bracelets are layer appropriate; add a friend or two to keep them company. Take a styling tip and wear your bracelet over a white shirt cuff for a unique touch.
