Hairstylist by day, online business woman by night, and mama 24/7, Ellen’s got the multi-tasking mum thing down pat with her mini-me!
Being a Mum is…. Like walking into a warzone unarmed (haaaa)
My favourite memory of being a Mum is… The love and bond that grows between Soph and I. I look back and just can’t believe we’re here. We actually made it! She’s 5 and a half and its very surreal that somehow I blinked and one minute she was a teenie lil squish who depended on my every decision to survive, and boom, now she’s calling the shots, almost half way through Prep and asks to be dropped off at the gate (V independent)!
Most important lesson I will teach my kids is… life is full of seasons, some are so easy and beautiful, and others are hard, dark and long. No matter what season you’re in, always look and work forwards.
My biggest meltdown moment while shopping with my kids.. This still terrifies me, so usually avoided with 854 bribes, or I bank up a few sacred shopping hours and go during school/daycare days = heaven
Story I will embarrass my kids at their 21st birthdays with… She had a dummy until she was almost 4, so good, but so bad.
My Mum fail… Oh god there is so many!
Being a Mum has made me grateful of my Mum because… She had it down pat from day one. I am still trying to replicate her routine!
All I want for Mother’s Day is.. Just one day without having to play Disney Princess greatest hits 😉 oh, and a day with my little babe, my mum and Nanna. Good coffee, something yum, and a day in the sun. Yes please.
