Is there anything this super woman can’t do?
Being a Mum is…. rewarding, tough, tiring, joyful and fulfilling.
My favourite memory of being a Mum is… the first time I brought each child home from the hospital. Such a special moment. That’s when you have the moment of “Oh my gosh, I’m a Mum”.
Most important lesson I will teach my kids is… to be kind.
My biggest meltdown moment while shopping with my kids… LOL I don’t take my kids shopping! We go to parks, open air cinemas, adventure playgrounds, playdates and the beach. I’m smart enough not to bring my kids to “boring” places like the shops. That’s Mummy’s sacred place! I do remember having to climb up a 3 storey slide once to collect a screaming Oscar. He refused to come down on his own. From memory he had also wet his pants. Oh the glamour…
Story I will embarrass my kids at their 21stbirthdays with… I have some winning self-styled outfit shots. Uggs teamed with swimming goggles styled with fairy skirts finished off with a football jersey and Spiderman gloves.
My Mum fail… Anytime my kids drops a new swear word… because I know they’ve learned that from me! I have a “Mum Fail” moment every day!
Being a Mum has made me grateful of my Mum because… It’s not until you become a Mother yourself, do you really understand the sacrifices your parents made for you. Every second of every minute of every day is sacrificed to their needs and wants. It’s the most selfless job in the world.
All I want for Mother’s Day is… to enjoy good food in a beautiful setting with my family all around me. Heaven. I’ve also been eyeing off a pair of Saint Laurent heels…
