Floral mixed with botanical motifs will be one of the big trends this season. We are now seeing floral print not only on clothing but printed on boots, trainers and handbags.
A key point to remember when wearing floral is a single item goes a long way. Floral prints whether they be bright or demure, mix well with neutral pieces and look fantastic on all body shapes.
Wearing a floral print jacket with your basic outfit such as everyday jeans and white t-shirt adds an element of interest. You could even just add a floral print scarf, handbag or shoe.
Balance is everything so if you choose to wear a floral print dress, choose a neutral shoe or if you are feeling bold pick a bright colour from the print, like red or yellow and wear that coloured shoe or bag.
Personally I love mixing prints together like small prints with big prints in the same colour tones. I also love to mix a small amount of leopard print with floral print.
There are no rules you just try a few looks and see what works best for you.
